Monthly General Meeting

At our March 10 Meeting
We learned how to
make our Conservative Voices heard!

Get on the Road to the Convention

Our Republican Party is the strongest conservative political entity in Texas. But:

  • Who decides what conservative principles define us?
  • Who elects the leaders who represent the Party to support or to challenge legislation?
  • Who determines the content of the Platform?
  • Who decides the Party stance on pro-life issues, marriage, gun control, immigration, taxes, and many more issues?

The answer is the 9,000 delegates to the Republican Party of Texas State Convention! And you can be one of them.

At the March 10 meeting powerhouse Janet Jackson walked us through the process for becoming a delegate. Janet is the training chairman of the Texas Republican County Chairmen’s Association and travels the state educating Republicans in leadership and delegate skills.

Caring for America is starting 2020 with new initiatives! One of our important projects will be working with 40 Days for Life. For the March meeting, we need your help in getting supplies to fill “Blessing Bags”. These are small gift bags filled with toiletries and literature geared to pro-life that will be provided to young women as they arrive at Planned Parenthood.  Please bring your donation, in bulk, of small bottles of nail polish, pocket-sized packs of Kleenex & small hand sanitizers for the Blessing Bags to the March meeting. These items, in bulk, can be found on-line and at Dollar Tree stores.  Cash donations are also appreciated. We expect to help fill 350 Blessing Bags in April! We will have sign-up sheets at the luncheon to volunteer for this worthwhile project.
